Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of fermented catfish pond wastewater and GDM liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) on the growth and yield of edamame soybean (Glycine max L. Merrill). The research was conducted at the Freshwater Aquaculture Technopark, Dham Pulo Village, Ingin Jaya District, Aceh Besar, from June to September 2024. A factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 4 × 4 treatments and three replications was used. The first factor was fermented catfish pond wastewater concentration (0, 200, 400, and 600 ml L⁻¹), and the second factor was GDM liquid organic fertilizer concentration (0, 4, 8, and 12 ml polybag⁻¹). Observed parameters included plant height at 15, 30, and 45 days after planting (DAP), number of productive branches, total pod weight, filled pod weight, and dry pod weight. The results indicated that fermented catfish pond wastewater and GDM liquid organic fertilizer had no significant effect on all observed growth and yield parameters. No significant interaction was found between the two treatments
