Analisis Profitabilitas Gula Merah Tebu di Kecamatan Wih Pesam Kabupaten Bener Meriah

Abstract


The profitability of the seasonal plantation business is the ability of a business to generate profits during a certain period. The low profitability of the annual plantation business in the study area is due to the efficient use of resources by farmers. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of profitability inefficiency received by farmers from sugar cane plantations in Wih Pesam District, Bener Meriah Regency. The research methodology used is "Survey Method" with "Stratified Random Sampling" sampling technique on 29 sample farmers. Profitability analysis methods were analyzed using Gross Margin (GM), Gross Ratio (GR), Operating Ratio (OR), Return On Invested Capital (ROIC) and Net Farm Income (NFI). The results showed that the profitability value for gross margin (GR) was Rp. 42,380,987.96, Net Farm Income (NFI) was Rp. 42,322,506.98, the value of Return On Invested Capital (ROIC) of 1.95, the value of the Operating Ratio (OR) of 0.511, and the value of the Gross Ratio (GR) of 0.512. This means that the sugarcane plantation business in the research area is able to generate profits and is feasible to operate.
