Abstract

This study aims to measure the effect of feeding a fermented mixture of rice bran, sweet potato leaves, and cattle bone meal as a substitute for commercial feed on the performance of broiler chickens, to determine its impact on feed consumption, weight gain, and feed conversion efficiency in broiler chickens. The material used in this study was 32 male broiler chickens raised from three days old until harvest age and placed in cages. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and four replicates. The results showed that the use of fermented feed and cattle bone meal as substitutes for commercial feed affected body weight gain in the second and fourth weeks, feed conversion efficiency, and broiler chicken meat quality. The best treatment for broiler chicken body weight gain was treatment P3 (20% fermented feed).
