HUBUNGAN INSOMNIA DENGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR PADA MAHASISWA DI LINGKUP UNIVERSITAS ABULYATAMA

Abstract


Overweight and obesity are the 5th leading risk factors for death worldwide.  Every activity that is done requires different energy depending on the length of intensity and muscle work. BMI (Body Mass Index) and physical activity are related to each other, where the higher the physical activity, the lower the BMI value and vice versa. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect between physical activity and BMI in Abulyatama University students. This type of research is analytic with a cross sectional design using the IPAQ (International Physical Activity Questionnaire) questionnaire. The study population was Abulyatama University students totaling 80 people, the research sample used the total sampling method. The instrument in this study used primary data obtained by filling out the questionnaire and through the calculation of BMI. The study used the Chi-Square test which showed that there was an influence between physical activity and the IMT value of Abulyatama University students (p value = 0.008).This study shows that there is an influence between physical activity and IMT achievement of Abulyatama University students.
