EDUKASI ANTI BULLYING BERBASIS PENYULUHAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN SANTRI DI PONDOK PESANTREN

Abstract


Bullying is an intimidative behavior that is carried out repeatedly with the intention of harming the victim, both physically and psychologically, and generally occurs due to an imbalance of power between the perpetrator and the victim. Forms of bullying include physical violence, verbal harassment, and social exclusion. This phenomenon is frequently found in educational settings, including schools and Islamic boarding schools. This community service activity was conducted at Babun Najjah Islamic Boarding School, Banda Aceh, involving male and female students (santri) as participants. The purpose of this activity was to enhance participants’ understanding of the various types of bullying as well as prevention and intervention strategies. The method employed was an educational counseling session delivered interactively using PowerPoint presentations. The results indicated that participants were highly enthusiastic and demonstrated an increased understanding of the dangers of bullying and its management strategies. Therefore, this activity is considered effective in improving students’ awareness and knowledge regarding the importance of bullying prevention within the boarding school environment
