Sosialisasi Pentingnya Penerapan Protokol Kesehatan dalam Mencegah Penyebaran Covid-19 Di Desa Upah Kec. Bendahara Kab. Aceh Tamiang

Abstract

Abstract: The spread of Covid-19 takes place very quickly throughout the world, causing concern,
including Aceh Province. Upah village, Bendahara district, Aceh Tamiang is the center of the crowd
because it has adequate facilities for the residents around it. In addition to its position, this village
also has potential in the trade sector. So that the potential for the spread of the pandemic will be
more widespread. Even the lack of public awareness in implementing health protocols can increase
the risk of infection. To prevent this problem, it is necessary to implement a health protocol (5M) to
prevent the spread of Covid-19. The method used in this activity was socialization either directly by
educating the public about preventing Covid-19 in various community activities, or indirectly by
approaching people's homes and conveying information through social media. This service activity
went well and smoothly. The results of this activity are increasing public understanding about
preventing Covid-19 and increasing the application of health protocols in daily life such as washing
hands, wearing masks, maintaining distance, staying away from crowds, reducing mobility.
