Prevalensi Penderita Dermatitis Kontak di Poli Kulit dan Kelamin Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Meuraxa Kota Banda Aceh Periode Tahun 2015-2018

Abstract


Abstract: Contact dermatitis is skin inflammation caused by materials and substances attached to the skin, there are two types of contact dermatitis namely irritant contact dermatitis (ICD) which is a non-immunological response and allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) caused by a specific immunological mechanism. Both contact dermatitis can be acute or even chronic. The purpose of this study was to determine the age, sex, and type of contact dermatitis (ICD & ACD) that occurred in patients with contact dermatitis in the skin and genitalia of the Meuraxa Regional General Hospital in Banda Aceh City Period 2015-2018. This type of research is a descriptive study, conducted retrospectively using secondary data from a complete medical record that was carried out on 10-13 May 2019. Sufferers in this study from 2015-2018 were 858 sufferers. The results of this research based on age found in patients with contact dermatitis most often found at the age of 46-65. Based on sex, it is found that patients with contact dermatitis were more in women than men. Based on the highest type of contact dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) is higher than irritant contact dermatitis (ICD).
