Hubungan Persepsi Wanita dalam Menghadapi Menopause dengan Tingkat Kecemasan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kuta Alam Kota Banda Aceh

Abstract

Abstract: Menopause is it last still for women affected by hormone reproduction.To the anxiety menopause perception of them because of reduced bodily functions and some an impairment of health. Anxiety enter menopause because change and cause levels of estrogen worries others of psychological factors. The purpose of this research is to find the perception of women in the face of menopause with the anxiety the work area of the community health center in Kuta Alam of Banda Aceh City. This research including descriptive the correlation with the kind of research design cross sectional study. Population in this research is the wives of the menopause age with 218 people. Included in research and these are the fertile 69 women the a person through the sample proportionally sampling techniques. This study was conducted in the work area of the community health center in Kuta Alam of Banda Aceh City on the 9 – 27 July 2020. The results of the respondents research showed that of the 33 respondents who had a positive perception, most of them 22 respondents (66,7%) had a moderate level of hiding, 10 respondents (30,3%) had a mild level and 1 (3%) had a severe level. As for the 36 respondents who had negative perceptions, most of them 26 respondents (72,2%) had a moderate level, 8 respondents (22,2%) had a severe level and 2 respondents (5,6%) had a mild level. Based on the statistical test, it was found that p-value = 0.004 (p <0.05), so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between women's perceptions in dealing with menopause with anxiety levels. Expected women menopause age in order to provide the perceptual effect positive with ourselves to menopause.
