EFEKTIVITAS PENERAPAN PROGRAM DINIYAH TERHADAP PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR TAJWID DI SMA NEGERI 2 UNGGUL ALI HASJMY

Abstract


This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the Diniyah Program in improving students’ tajwid learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 2 Unggul Ali Hasjmy. The Diniyah Program is a structured and continuous religious learning activity designed to strengthen students’ competence in reading the Qur’an correctly in accordance with tajwid principles. This research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using the one-group pretest–posttest model. The sample consisted of 62 students selected purposively based on their active participation in the Diniyah Program. The instrument used was a multiple-choice tajwid test, and the data were analyzed using paired t-test and N-gain calculations to determine the magnitude of learning improvement. The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ tajwid abilities after participating in the Diniyah Program. The average pretest score of 60.10 increased to 84.54 on the posttest. The t-test revealed a t-value of 19.17, exceeding the t-table value of 2.10 (α = 0.05), indicating a significant difference between pre- and post-intervention results. The N-gain score was 0.54, categorized as moderate, suggesting that the program is effective in enhancing tajwid comprehension. These findings imply that the Diniyah Program plays an important role in strengthening students’ religious competencies, particularly in reading the Qur’an according to established rules. The study concludes that the implementation of the Diniyah Program is effective in improving tajwid learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 2 Unggul Ali Hasjmy. The implications highlight the importance of reinforcing diniyah education in public schools as an integral learning strategy that supports the sustainable development of students’ religious literacy
