METODE RESITASI DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PPKN MATERI PANCASILA DI SMA NEGERI 1 LONGKIB KOTA SUBULUSSALAM

Abstract


This study aims to examine the implementation of the recitation method in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) at SMA Negeri 1 Longkib. This research employed a quantitative approach using Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The subjects were all 30 students of class X. The research instruments included observation sheets for teacher and student activities, as well as learning achievement tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques to calculate the percentage of learning mastery and the improvement in learning activities. The results showed that the implementation of the recitation method could enhance student learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle, the percentage of mastery learning was only 43,33% with an average score of 61%. After applying the recitation method in cycle I, mastery increased to 76,66% with an average score of 75,33% and in cycle II, mastery reached 100% with an average score of 91,5%. Improvements were also observed in teacher and student activities, indicating higher engagement in the learning process. In conclusion, the recitation method proved effective in improving the PPKn learning outcomes of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Longkib, while also fostering student independence, responsibility, and active participation in learning
