EFEKTIVITAS PAKAN FERMENTASI BERBASIS DEDAK, AMPAS TAHU DAN TEPUNG LIMBAH TULANG SAPI SEBAGAI SUBTITUSI PARSIAL PAKAN KOMERSIL UNTUK AYAM BROILER
Abstract
This study aimed to evaluate fermented feed based on rice bran, tofu waste, and fermented cattle bone waste meal as a partial substitute for commercial feed on broiler performance. The experiment was conducted from July to August 2025 in Mon Mata Village, Aceh Besar, using a Completely Randomized Design with four dietary treatments: P0 (100% commercial feed), P1 (100% fermented feed), P2 (50% fermented feed), and P3 (20% fermented feed). The parameters observed included body weight gain, feed intake, feed conversion ratio, and carcass weight. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Duncan’s multiple range test. The results showed that dietary treatments had a highly significant effect (P < 0.01) on all observed parameters. However, during the first week, dietary treatments had no significant effect on body weight gain (P > 0.05). Treatment P3 produced performance comparable to the control and was superior to P1 and P2. It can be concluded that fermented feed can be used up to 20% in broiler diets without reducing broiler performance.
