KUALITAS SILASE RUMPUT ALAM (NATIVE GRASS) DENGAN PERSENTASE PENGGUNAAN PROBIOTIK YANG BERBEDA
Abstract
The addition of probiotics in silage is generally carried out by Cattleman with different compositions, but does the addition of different probiotics in natural grass silage show different quality of proximate content, so to find out, research is needed which aims to determine the effect of adding different concentrations of probiotics on quality. natural grass silage (Native grass). The research design used a completely randomized design (CRD) with a one-way pattern consisting of 4 treatments and 4 replications, namely: B0 (1000 ml of water without probiotics), B1 (5 ml of probiotics + 995 ml of water), B2 (10 ml of probiotics + 990 ml water), B3 (15 ml probiotics + 985 ml water), Based on the results of variance analysis, the addition of 5 – 15 ml probiotics in making natural grass silage, had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on the percentage of water content, ash content, fat content, and protein content of natural grass silage (Native grass).
