HUBUNGAN INSOMNIA DENGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR PADA MAHASISWA DI LINGKUP UNIVERSITAS ABULYATAMA
Abstract
Insomnia is the most common and most recognized sleep disorder in society, especially among workers and the academic community. The number of activities that must be done and the little time they have so that it has an impact on the reduced time for rest, especially sleep. The result of the lack of sleep time will result in fatigue, drowsiness, difficulty concentrating, decreased memory, decreased learning or work performance, and decreased productivity, and can even cause accidental death. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between insomnia and learning achievement in students in the scope of Abulyatama University. The research design used was descriptive analytic with a cross sectional approach. The research subjects were students in the scope of abulyatama university. Sampling technique by random sampling. The whole sample amounted to 90 people. From the results of data analysis using Spearman Rank Correlation, it was found that the relationship between insomnia and learning achievement in 2020-2022 batch students of the Faculty of Medicine, Abulyatama University was = - 0.212. Because the value is negative, it shows that the direction of the relationship is opposite. This means that if the insomnia rate rises, then learning achievement will decrease.
