PERKEMBANGAN PSIKOSOSIAL ANAK USIA TOODLER (1-3 TAHUN) DI GAMPONG BATOH KECAMATAN LUENG BATA BANDA ACEH

Abstract

Abstract: Lack of stimulation given by parents might lead to developmental delay in children. Therefero, all parents and those who take care of children should understand the ways of stimulating children since the children who receive more stimulation develop more significantly than those who receive less or no stimulation. The aim of this research was to identify the psychosocial development of toddlers (1-3 years old) in Gampong Batoh of Lueng Bata Sub-District, Banda Aceh in 2018. Descriptive design was used in this research, 58 of 137 population members were chosen as the research samples by using proportionate sampling technique. The date were collected by distributing a questuionate to each respondent from March 10 to March 19, 2018 the result of univariate data analysis indicates that the psychosocial development of most of 12-month old toddlers (31 respondents; 53,4%) was in good category, that the psychosocial development of most of 24-month old toddlers (35 respondents; 60,3%) was in good category, that the psychosocial development of most of 36-month old toddlers (39 respondents, 67,2%) was also in good category, Hence, it was concluded that psychosocial development of toddlers (1-3 years old) in Gampong Batoh of Lueng Bata Sub-District, Banda Aceh in 2018 was generally in good category. Therefore, it is suggested that the medical workers keep encouraging the parents to stimulate their children
