GAMBARAN FAKTOR RISIKO TERJADINYA KEJANG DEMAM DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH Dr. ZAINOEL ABIDIN BANDA ACEH

Abstract

Abstract: Febrile seizures are the most common type of seizures found in children. Some risk factors that cause febrile seizures, namely temperature factors, infectious diseases, gender, genetic, prenatal, and perinatal history, and Birth Weight (BBL). The purpose of this study was to determine the risk factors of febrile seizures at the Regional General Hospital dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. This research is a descriptive cross-sectional design. The population in the study were all children with febrile seizures at the District General Hospital dr.Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh in 2015-2016. Samples were taken by consecutive sampling totaling 112 samples using secondary data. The highest febrile seizure patients in the male sex were 54% (60 children). The highest age of febrile seizures at age 6 months - ≤2 years was 54.46% (61 children) The highest temperature of febrile seizures are at a temperature ≤40℃ is 97.32%(109 children) Birth Weight The highest birth weight in patients with febrile seizures is the normal birth weight of 87.50% (98 children). The highest infectious diseases that cause the occurrence of febrile seizures are ARPA 19.63% (22 children). And the highest classification of seizures in febrile seizures was 71.43% (80 children)
