Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) states that washing hands with soap is an effective way to prevent the spread of the corona virus. This method is more effective at killing viruses. Washing your hands is highly recommended, especially if you still have activities outside the home. However, when you are at home, washing your hands is still highly recommended. The purpose of this community service is to provide insight and useful knowledge about the 6 steps of hand washing to street vendors and road users in the Blang Padang area, Banda Aceh City. A TEAM of community service lecturers and students carry out activities in the form of socialization related to the 6 steps of hand washing. The socialization activity was carried out on April 18 2020 in the Blang Padang area of Banda Aceh City. The benefits of this socialization aim to add insight and educate the public to understand the 6 steps to washing hands. The activity support team consists of lecturers and nursing students and the people of the Blang Padang area, Banda Aceh City. In general, this community service activity aims to provide understanding to the community regarding the 6 steps to washing hands.
