Pengenalan Stunting Sejak Dini Serta Pemeriksaan Growth Chart Di Puskesmas Kuta Malaka Kabupaten Aceh Besar

Abstract


Abstract: Growth and development is an important aspect of children's health. Stunting or short stature is a growth disorder that is mostly caused by nutritional problems. Stunting is a problem in 72 countries in the world, Indonesia is the fifth largest country contributing to stunting in the world, where 9 million children or more than a third of children under five years in Indonesia are stunted. Aceh is one of the provinces in Indonesia with a high stunting rate. The prevalence of stunting in Aceh is always above the national average. The distribution of stunting prevalence by district in Aceh shows that almost all districts have a high prevalence of stunting >30%. The 2013 Riskedas data contained district stunting data in Aceh showing a very high disparity, exceeding the provincial average, namely Southeast Aceh (66.9%), Simelue (63.9%), Southwest Aceh (60.9%) and Gayo Lues (59.5%). The prevalence of stunting in Aceh Besar is 37%. From the results of the data from the Kuta Malaka Health Center in 2019, data were obtained on the population in the Kuta Malaka sub-district of 7,123 people, of which 3,592 were male and 3,590 were female, with a total of 1,801 household heads and 464 children under five in the area. From all toddlers, there were 89 children who experienced stunting, so the prevalence of stunting in the puskesmas area was 19.2%.

Abstrak: Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan merupakan salah satu aspek penting bagi kesehatan anak. Stunting atau perawakan pendek merupakan gangguan pertumbuhan yang sebagian besar disebabkan oleh masalah nutrisi. Stunting menjadi masalah di 72 negara dunia, Indonesia merupakan negara kelima terbesar penyumbang stunting dunia, dimana 9 juta anak  atau lebih dari sepertiga anak di bawah lima tahun di Indonesia mengalami stunting. Aceh merupakan salah satu propinsi di Indonesia dengan angka stunting yang tinggi. Prevalensi stunting di Aceh selalu berada di atas angka rata-rata nasional. Penyebaran prevalensi stunting berdasarkan kabupaten di Aceh menunjukkan hampir semua kabupaten mempunyai prevalensi stunting yang tinggi >30%. Data Riskedas 2013 terdapat data stunting kabupaten di Aceh menunjukkan disparitas yang sangat tinggi, melebihi angka rata – rata propinsi, yaitu Aceh Tenggara (66,9%), Simelue (63,9%), Aceh Barat Daya (60,9%) dan Gayo Lues (59,5%). Prevalensi stunting di Aceh Besar adalah 37%. Dari hasil data puskesmas Kuta Malaka tahun 2019, diperoleh data jumlah penduduk di kecamatan Kuta Malaka 7.123 jiwa dimana 3.592 jiwa laki-laki dan 3.590 jiwa perempuan, dengan jumlah rumah tangga 1.801 kepala keluarga dan jumlah balita di wilayah tersebut 464 anak. Dari seluruh balita dijumpai anak yang mengalami stunting sebanyak 89 anak, sehingga prevalensi stunting di wilayah puskesmas adalah 19,2%.
